We will be in Camden Town market, a busy shopping area with quirky shops and food stalls. We will visit some interesting shops, including London Calligraphy, where we will learn how the artist there makes his unique souvenirs

​​This experience is suitable for intermediate-level English learners. We will be in Camden Town market, a busy shopping area with quirky shops and food stalls. We learn and practise English vocabulary used when shopping. You will get feedback on your pronunciation and learn natural language used to describe clothes and other items sold in the market.
Camden Town is a vibrant market that is worth exploring while practising English.

 ​Do the Harry Potter Tour .

You and your teacher will explore the sites and locations from the Harry Potter books and film series. You will discuss fun facts, film references, and get the chance to see many locations referenced in the Harry Potter books. We will also use the Underground (remember that scar of Dumbledore’s?).  You can expect to see the Leaky Cauldron where Harry is first introduced to the wizarding world, the real Diagon Alley, the Minitry of Magic and right down to Piccadilly Circus where the trio apparate into London in the final book.

What is there to see in this museum?
We will meet in the Central Cafe and introduce ourselves . Your teacher will explain what the visit will involve. You will then visit the 'Creepy Crawlies' exhibition before visiting the exhibition on human evolution. You will then congregate and discuss both exhibitions before visiting the exhibition about volcanoes and earthquakes.

Do the Greenwich Tour.
Greenwich is a  UNESCO World Heritage Site, with renowned architecture and many famous museums and buildings. Collectively they have served as symbols of British cultural and naval power for over 400 years. With your teacher, you will visit the unique architecture of the first classical building in Britain, Queen’s House, as well as hearing the story of the only surviving tea clipper, Cutty Sark, in the world.  Your teacher will  take you on a walk through the beautiful green hills of Greenwich Park. You will also explore the eastern and western hemispheres on the Meridian Line.  Your teacher will also give you the chance to visit  historic pubs, restaurants and Old Greenwich Market,. At the end of the tour you will get the chance to have lunch, if you choose.

You will stroll with your teacher along  London’s spectacular Southbank Thames Path. We will walk past and discuss some of London's most famous sites.  These include Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, The Savoy Hotel, the Tate Modern, HMS Belfast and so, so much more.

Your teacher will take you  through the oldest parts of London. You will walk down famous Fleet Street, past the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral.  The tour will finish at the Tower of London.

You will wander around the narrow lanes of Whitechapel where  the famed Victorian killer took the lives of his helpless victims. This tour is filled with twists and turns, dark alleys and deception.  You will discuss the theories surrounding the murders with your teacher.
